With this device, you can virtually control all of your external "Hard Wired" synths and other MIDI boxes. MIDI remote controller was not totally made to replace all the dedicated editors, but it can easily help you to quickly edit the main parameters of your synths. |

Use the tones, burst, noises etc to evaluate,enhance and appreciate totally your sound system. or simply connect the Pro Tester outputs to your reverb inputs,and listen the results. On a Pulsar mixer,you could even insert the ProTester before the reverb, thanks to the Thru function. enjoy. celmo |

You may wonder why the harmonic numbers can not be controlled by the joystick, it is because they are integers. this means it would just step between them and not sound smooth at all. (they are not real harmonics either, they change depending on the shape of the waveform). |

It is a left-rigt to "Mid-side" or "mono-stereo" converter. It translates Left and Right signals to center(middle) and difference(side) and then back again. Studios can record this way by using a mic pointed towards the source and another with a figure8 pattern pointed at right angles to it. They would not need an encoder, just the decoder. but it is handy to be able to encode regular stereo signals this way to be able to use the techniques associated with MS encoding. USE: If for instance you have a vocal or bass in the center of a mix that needs some tweaking you can eq and/or compress it without effecting the rest of the instruments as much as you would just using an EQ. or if the tails of the reverbs have an annoying frequency in them you could reduce it by EQing the side channel. There are a lot of other uses for it. If anyone has any MS recorded source could you please test this device out on it and make sure it is correct. it has only been tested with its own encoded signal. MS doeas not have anything to do with Micr! |

has similar archirecture to the 303 thing but with joystick morphing. It is not meant to be an accurate 303 emulation but it can make some similar sounds. most of the parameters are self explanatory, exept: the wave knob fades between saw and square. the "diff" knob affects the tone of the filter , you will probably not notice much unless the rez is up. have fun! ----------------------------- 09-04-02: New Server Location |
